About UsJohn Burton's Foodmarket and Catering Supplies is a family run business. It began in 1990 by John Burton who started his butchery business after relocating to Basingstoke with his family from London. His brother Frank Burton also a butcher joined the business shortly after. Finally John's son, Mark Burton joined the business after leaving school in 1992 and concentrated on establishing the catering side of the business. Now 17 years on John Burton Foodmarket is flourishing and is well known in the Basingstoke and surrounding areas as a reputable supplier. In 1999 it was awarded Small Business of the Year at the Basingstoke Business Awards. We now regularly serve over 50 establishments that include pubs, restaurants, rest homes and educational organisations to mention a few.
